Why Pure Praxis Exists
Most training explains policy, definitions, and expectations.
But real situations unfold under pressure. Power dynamics, hierarchy, uncertainty, emotion. In those moments, knowledge alone is not enough.
People hesitate. Conversations stall. Risk increases.
Pure Praxis exists to close that gap.
Preparation is practiced behavior.
Founder & CEO
Kelly Pfleider founded Pure Praxis to transform how institutions prepare for high-stakes moments. With 18 years of experience and more than 5,000 hours dedicated to performance-based training and bystander resiliency work, she has built a disciplined methodology grounded in realism and behavioral rehearsal.
Under her leadership, Pure Praxis designs and delivers programs across sectors, addressing violence prevention, retaliation, power dynamics, and toxic ideologies with clarity and practical application.
Senior Director of Operations
Willie Fortes brings more than 25 years of theater expertise to Pure Praxis, shaping its creative execution and operational rigor. A graduate of the CSU Fullerton Acting Conservatory, he integrates performance discipline with strategic leadership.
During the Covid pandemic, Willie served as an EMT, responding to emergency calls across Los Angeles and San Bernardino counties. That frontline experience informs his steady, practical approach to training under pressure.

Our Commitment
Pure Praxis operates in environments where preparation carries weight. Every program is built to reflect real dynamics, real pressures, and real consequences. We do not simulate perfection. We prepare people for reality.
